KEY INGREDIENTS:Total Acidity 7.25%, pH 3.50Lactic Acid (6%): In addition to deep exfoliation, lactic acid stimulates an increase in Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs), which are natural humectants, like hyaluronic acid, that increase moisture in the skin. Lactic acid also increases ceramide production (epidermal barrier lipids) and improves water barrier properties. It also suppresses tyrosinase formation, which causes pigmentation.  Salicylic Acid (.05%): Derived from Willow Bark Extract, SA has a larger molecule than its cousin AHA. This larger molecule size keeps the SA on the surface of the skin allowing it to more effectively penetrate and exfoliate the pore. It is also a chemical trap for free radicals and exfoliates inside and out, similar to benzyl peroxide, but without the sensitivity.Sweet Cherry Puree: This is rich in vitamins and phytochemicals, including Vitamin C and Beta Carotene, which function as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agents.

Resveratrol: An antioxidant polyphenol found in red wine skins, this extends the life of the cell by protecting it against free radical damage. Used topically, it also brightens pigmentation.
