Summer Solstice EnChanted Sound Healing

summer solstice sound healing

Our Summer Solstice ritual this year will go beyond just a listening experience, it will be a communal experience in which the distinction between audience and performer is dissolved and each person is invited to become an integral part of the enchantment.

Become EnChanted and enter into a world of sound that is meditative, empowering and transformative. Alyx Autuori and Kiranjot Kaur both former members of the vocal trio Copper Wimmin have been singing together since they were 12 years old and share a belief in the healing power of music and the human voice.

Afterward, a limited number of people will have an opportunity to have a deeper healing experience with sound therapy in an Enzyme Footbath.

The Cedar Enzyme Footbath immediately following the event is $15 with very limited tickets available.
Entry fee of $15 can be applied to any same day service.

Alyx Autuori sang German folk songs in three-part harmony as a child with her parents. From this place, she developed a deep love for harmonizing and blending vocally with others. She sang in many choirs and was a founding member of the a capella trio Copper Wimmin. She has worked in hospice and in hospitals providing therapeutic music. She sings every day with her children and husband and finds this practice to be nourishing and uplifting for the whole family. Alyx uses songwriting as a multi-dimensional healing process and believes that humans singing together can regenerate and transform the world.

Kiranjot Kaur is a Sebastopol native, and internationally recognized musician and teacher. Coming from a long family line of creatives, she first received her degree in fine arts from California College of the Arts and was a founding member of the music group Copper Wimmin. They were featured on Amy Goodmans NPR program Democracy Now and their song Bleeding Rivers was featured on the Showtime television series The L Word. In 2006 Kiranjot refocused her career around classical Indian music and spent five years living and studying under the guidance of her beloved teacher Ustad Narindar Singh in Amritsar, India. Kundalini Yoga has been an integral part of her life since age 14 and she discovered that her favorite thing in this world is using her voice as a call to stillness and healing by leading groups in meditation with mantras.

Summer Solstice Sound Healing Ceremony

The Summer Solstice is a season to celebrate! The longer days and warmth of the sun reminds us to appreciate and acknowledge the generosity of our Earth Mother.

Join us and a special team of healers and musicians on the Summer Solstice at 8 am in the Temple Gardens at Osmosis as we celebrate the sun at the height of its power and rekindle the spirit upon which we have built, and continue to empower our unique culture and community. With the sound of gongs and other healing instruments, we will embark on a Sound Healing journey of conscious and sacred engagement with self, spirit and the earth in a way that is inspiring and deeply nourishing.

The Cedar Enzyme Footbath immediately following the event is $15 with very limited tickets available.

Entry fee of $10 can be applied to any same day service.

Flowers are starting to bloom in the gardens. Come be nourished inside and out. Evening appointments are available. We hope to see you soon!
